Psalm of the day: Psalm 125
1 A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.
3 For the scepter of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous, so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.
4 Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.
5 But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.
Prayer of the day: Angelus
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary...
Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
Be it done unto me according to thy word.
Hail Mary...
And the Word was made flesh.
And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary...
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech thee, O Lord, thy grace into our hearts, that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, may by his passion and cross be brought to the glory of his resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
