Prayer for the Family
This traditional prayer is addressed to the Holy Family (Jesus, Mary, and Joseph), seeking their intercession and example for Christian families. It invokes the virtues of obedience, work, and love, inspired by the life of the Holy Family in Nazareth, seeking spiritual protection and unity. It is a common plea for the family to be a sanctuary of faith, love, and peace.
O Jesus, Son of God and Mary, Who lived in Nazareth with the Holy Family, sanctifying it with Your virtues, and Who, by Your hidden life, gave us the example of obedience, work, and love, deign to bless our family.
We ask You, Lord, that our family may be a sanctuary of faith, love, and peace, where Your grace may reign and where all its members may strive to please You.
Protect us from all evil, from all discord, and from all temptation. Grant us the grace to live always united in Your love, to help one another on the path of salvation, and to meet one day in the glory of Heaven. Amen.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, our family is yours!
