Hail Mary
It joins the angel Gabriel's greeting (Luke 1:28), Elizabeth's words (Luke 1:42) and a plea of the Church. It is repeated ten times in each rosary decade.
Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
